It’s Friday again, just a little while to go before we can enjoy the weekend. Like every week I made a summary of the best activities in the region. Last week was all about Budget Day, this time another general article with the best weekend tips.

Open day rescue team Westland

Saturday, September 19, you can take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the Westland rescue team. From 13.00 to 17.00h you can visit the rescue team in Ter Heijde and in ‘s-Gravenzande. Several spectacular demonstrations will be given at both locations.

So you can experience a bit of what a real rescue operation is like. There is also the opportunity to have your picture taken with the vehicles used by the rescue team. In addition, various activities are organized for children and you can find stands with information.

For the entire program take a look at the website of the rescue team.

Pro freestyle festival The Hague

From Friday 18 September till Sunday 20 September there will be a spectacular festival in The Hague. On the Hofvijver and the Spuiplein the coolest stunts will be performed with wakeboards, BMX’s, MTB’s, snowboards, skis’s and skateboards. The Hofvijver gets a wakeboard course and Spuiplein an action sports course. There is even a snow track being built. Spectacle guaranteed.

For the exact times and sports I refer you to the website of the Pro Freestyle Festival.

Fairground Malieveld The Hague

This weekend is the last opportunity to take a ride on the merry-go-round on the Malieveld. Until Sunday, September 20, you can still enjoy more than twenty fairground attractions. On Saturday night there is even a fireworks show at 22.00hour.

Pay attention, the funfair will start at 13:00.00 o’clock but then continues until 24.00h on Saturday and until 23.00 o’clock on Sunday.

Enough fun things to do. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can go outside together.

What are you going to do this weekend? Do you have any tips?
